SOFTBALL PITCHING LESSONS
THAT GO BEYOND
THE LESSON.
Better mechanics, better command, more confidence—and a better understanding of how to pitch, not just how to throw.
What a Velocity lesson looks like
EVERY PITCHER IS DIFFERENT.
HER LESSON SHOULD BE TOO.
01
EVALUATE
Casey watches body position, timing, direction, release and command—and how she responds after a miss. Start with the pitcher, then choose the adjustment.
02
TEACH
Explain what needs to change and why, in language the pitcher can understand.
03
TRAIN
Work through purposeful drills designed around the athlete, with feedback she can use.
04
BUILD
Connect the adjustment to her full motion. The goal is a better pitcher, not simply a better lesson.

The work
WHAT DO WE
ACTUALLY WORK ON?
COMMAND
Learn to throw the ball where she intends. Velocity gets attention; command changes games.
MECHANICS
Build a repeatable, efficient motion that gives her a foundation for continued development.
VELOCITY DEVELOPMENT
Develop speed through better movement, efficiency and purposeful work without sacrificing command.
PITCH DEVELOPMENT
Build the fundamentals first, then add pitches at a pace that fits the athlete.
COMPETITION
Take the work from practice into the circle, with hitters in the box and pressure on.
CONFIDENCE
Learn to recover, adjust and compete again after a difficult pitch or outing.

The Velocity difference
COACHING DOESN’T END
WHEN THE LESSON ENDS.
Your daughter isn’t just another lesson on the calendar. She’s a Velocity Pitcher.
When appropriate, Casey may review a pitching clip, talk through a difficult outing, offer encouragement or celebrate a milestone. The relationship is built around the girl and her development.
The girls work hard, support each other and learn that improvement is earned.

Before the first lesson
QUESTIONS
PITCHING PARENTS ASK.
Does she need pitching experience?
No. Share where she is starting, whether that means learning the basics or returning with specific goals. Casey can discuss the right next step.
What will she work on?
The focus comes from her evaluation and goals. Lessons may address delivery mechanics, command, velocity development and confidence. Progress is individual.
How do we arrange a lesson?
Send an inquiry with your preferred location. Casey will discuss fit, availability and the details before anything is scheduled.
What should we bring?
Ask Casey to confirm equipment and any catching arrangements before your first lesson. Come prepared to talk about her experience and what she wants to improve.
